We have developed the WIRELESS TRAILER BOARD range in direct response to customer demand.
Using state-of-the-art secure communication modules developed by Siemens, we can guarantee that the the board will only communicate with the correct vehicle.
Should the board get lost or stolen it will be of no use to any other vehicle.
Features:
• Flexible foam board with ratchet straps that are fitted inside the foam to minimise any potential damage to the vehicle/boat being towed.
• Lights recessed into the board to avoid damage.
Range:
The board will operate at up to 100m from the sender unit making it suitable for all on and off highway applications.
State-of-the-art LED lights to reduce to a minimum the power used, typically a board can operate under normal driving conditions for a minimum of eight hours.
Self-checking technology means that the vehicle operator is warned automatically if there is lamp failure, low battery or loss of the board.
Display unit fitted to dash on towing vehicle shows the driver what features are being used.
Comes complete with its own onboard charger fitted to the board. This connects directly to the vehicle via a superseal connector which can be powered by hard wiring the mating half to the vehicle or plugging it into a cigarette lighter.
Automatic ON/OFF
When the board is connected to the power, the charger is activated and the board electronics switch off. When it is disconnected it automatically assumes it is going to be used and switches itself on. Once fitted, testing is automatic and can be verified from inside the cab. A cover for the charging connector is included so that it does not get damaged by water or salt spray.
